A common summer pass time is grilling burgers or hotdogs on the grill. Sometimes you can mix it up a bit and grill steak or chicken. For those vegetarians you can grill veggie kabobs. If you are really into cooking in the great outdoors, you can add an outdoor kitchen. Some of the things to add are a stove, oven, fridge and if you are really ambitions, an outdoor sink to wash up.

While your guests are waiting for the grilling food, they need somewhere to sit and relax. You could have a picnic table or patio furniture set up. An awesome addition to your yard could also be a wooden deck. This will give your guests an elevated view of the yard. The deck can be open to the yard or can be screened in to save the guests from getting mosquito bites.
Now that you have a place for your guests to sit and relax, what are they suppose to look at? Turning your yard into a beautiful landscape could be the center of any conversation. You can add a small fountain in the middle where it trickles into a small stream. Another great addition is a garden. It could be a flower garden filled with an array of species such as Perennials and lilies. You could also plant a vegetable garden with a variety of fresh toppings for a summer salad or your hamburger.
Everybody has an odd fascination with fire. The flames are both warm and hypnotizing. Most people only have fires for camping trips, but having an outdoor fireplace or fire pit is a great addition to your yard. You and your guests can end the day sitting around a cozy fire having a s'more or two.
